DIXON – East Bladen tied Topsail 1-1, dropped a 1-0 decision to Dixon and was outscored 3-0 by Northside – Jacksonville Thursday night in boys’ soccer scrimmage action.
“Great results against some very strong competition,” said East Bladen Coach Jay Raynor. “Fatigue set in with the last match. Weather shortened our times, and we played (matches) much closer together.”
Chace Butler fired in the Eagle goal against Topsail off an assist from Fernando Rebollar.
“Impressed with our improvement,” continued Raynor. “A lot to be blessed with and some things we need to work on.”
East Bladen will host the Bladen Cup scrimmages Saturday beginning at 5 p.m.
