
The East Bladen girls’ soccer team is scheduled to play at North Johnston on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the second round of the NCHSAA 2-A playoffs.
Admission to the game in Kenly is $7 and all tickets can be purchased online at Ticketspicket.com or by credit/debit card.
East Bladen, the 13th seed in the East, advanced with a 3-0 win against Princeton on Monday. Freshman Gabby Rebollar had two of the Eagles’ three goals in the second half. East Bladen is 14-3-1 and has won nine straight.
Fourth-seeded North Johnston beat Eastern Wayne 6-1 on Monday in the first round. Freshman Sydney Daughtry had three goals and two assists for the Panthers (15-1-3), who won the Neuse Six Conference.
Thursday’s winner will play the winner between No. 5 Roanoke Rapids and No. 12 Franklin Academy on Monday, May 22.
