LAURINGBURG – East Bladen’s Eagles battled Union, the host Scotland team and Havelock Wednesday night in a 4-team scrimmage.
“We played pretty decent,” said Eagle Coach Robby Priest. “We have got to get in shape and find some depth.”
The format was for all 4 teams to be on the field at the same time. Union played East Bladen on one half of the field, while Scotland and Havelock battled on the other side of midfield. After a set number of offensive and defensive snaps, the teams switched opponents.
East Bladen will battle South Brunswick Saturday at 8 p.m. in the ‘Bash at the Beach’ scrimmage at West Brunswick High School.
