Bladen County Cooperative Extension is hosting a four-week program that will teach you how to make healthier choices while being budget-friendly. Throughout the four sessions, physical activity improvements, increase in fruit and vegetable consumption, and budgeting will be discussed.
Online, the Cooperative Extension says, “We’ll discuss serving sizes as well as find solutions to eating more produce and moving more. Each session, we will also share a 10-minute physical activity and hold weekly challenges.”
The events will take place at Bladen County Public Library on the first four Tuesdays in March (March 1, 8, 15, and 22) at 11:00 am. Bladen County Public Library is located at 111 North Cypress Street in Elizabethtown.
Although it is free to participate, registration is required. To register, go to go.ncsu.edu/bladeneatmovesave. Registration is open now and will close on February 23rd, 2022, at 5 pm.
This event is presented by Krista Johnson, who is Bladen County Cooperative Extension’s Family and Consumer Sciences Agent. For registration assistance or disability accommodations, contact Krista at (910)862-4591 or krista_johnson@ncsu.edu.
