The Elizabethtown Town Council will have its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, August 7 at 7 p.m. inside City Hall at 805 West Broad Street. The meeting is open to the public.
Among the items on the agenda are:
• Public hearing about the annexation process to include the corporate limits that will complete the Industrial Park Annexation.
• Consider opting out of one-stop voting for November’s municipal elections. According to Bladen County Board of Elections Director Chris Williams, Elizabethtown is the only municipality that expressed interest in participating in one-stop voting.
