The North Carolina Department of Transportation announced this morning that Elwell Ferry is back open. Following are the other updates Faye Boyne with NCDOT announced today.
CLOSED:
SR1136 (White McEwen Road) is closed for crossline repair crossroad is SR1137 (McKee Road). Closed Monday, October 24, 2022 – Friday, October 28.
US Highway 701N
The both lanes of the North Bound US Highway 701 over the Cape Fear River is closed. Traffic will be rerouted to the Southbound lanes. The closure has a WIDE LOAD TRAFFIC RESTRICTION.
