Tonight (Thursday), the Legendary Motown Revue takes the stage at 6 p.m. at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown. The concert is sponsored by the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare. Admission is free and concerts are rain or shine.
This Saturday, beginning at noon, the Mother County Genealogical Society will be meeting at Bladenboro Historical Building at 818 South Main Street in Bladenboro. Albert Shaw will be there to discuss the Shaw family history and the early industries in Bladen County. Everyone is welcomed to come and attend the meeting.
