This weekend will be filled with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fall weather.
On Saturday morning the Annual NC Grape Festival will begin at 9 a.m. and will continue until 3 p.m. No payment is needed to attend. Vendor spaces will be available and booth spaces are free. Also on Saturday, the Mother County Genealogical Society will be having a meeting at the Bladenboro Historical Society Building. Terry Smith will be speaking about Colonel James Gillespie who was a delegate to the 1776 Halifax Convention. The Bladen Historical Society Building is located at 801 S. Main Street in Bladenboro.
Clarkton Dixie Youth Baseball will be hosting a annual fundraiser full of music on Saturday evening. The tickets will be $10 dollars per person at the gate. The tickets will also be pre-sold at $10 dollars each or $15 dollars a couple.
