Shallotte, NC – FOCUS Broadband will be offering $2,000 scholarships to ten deserving high school seniors who live in our service areas. Applicants and/or their legal guardians must be customers of FOCUS Broadband for Internet, Telephone, Cable TV, or Security services.

Scholarships will be awarded based on academics, school-sponsored activities, community involvement and interview skills. Winners of the FOCUS Broadband scholarships may also be eligible to apply for additional scholarships through the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS). To date, FOCUS Broadband has awarded more than $143,000 in scholarships to 86 students since 2002.

Applications should be complete to ensure eligibility and must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on December 8th, 2023. Students can submit applications to their guidance counselor’s office, email them to scholarships@focusbroadband.com, or mail them to FOCUS Broadband, Attn: Scholarship Program, 640 Whiteville Road NW, Shallotte, NC 28470.
