WILMINGTON – Wilmington Hoggard defeated West Bladen 60-12 Thursday night in a non-conference girls’ basketball game.
Tristan Shivers topped the Hoggard scoring with 13 points. Sarah Elgart followed with 11 points, and Anna Chance added 10.
Senior Kiera Lewis drained a 3-point shot, another basket and 2 free throws to lead the Lady Knights with 7 points. Sophomore Natalee Sykes nailed a 3-point shot in the 1st quarter, and junior Holland Davis tossed in a basket for West.
West Bladen (0-3) will travel to East Bladen Tuesday night, while Hoggard (3-0) will travel to Jacksonville Wednesday night.
