The Golden LEAF Scholarship applications are now available at CFNC.org/goldenleaf. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 1, 2018.
A total of 215 awards will be offered to first-time recipients to assist with tuition at participating institutions for the 2018-19 academic year. The awards are valued up to $12,000 ($3,000 per year for up to four years of undergraduate education) for high school seniors and up to $9,000 for community college transfer students from qualifying counties who attend a participating North Carolina campus.
Be on the lookout for an upcoming change in the application process. The Golden LEAF Foundation will soon be moving to an online only application process to increase efficiency. The Foundation previously accepted letters of inquiry and applications to be submitted through mail, email and an online portal; however, Golden LEAF will be eliminating the mail and email application submission processes.
