White Lake, NC – The enchanting shores of White Lake came alive with the rhythmic beats of beach music as The Grand Regal successfully hosted Goldston’s Beach Music Weekend on August 25th and 26th. This eagerly anticipated event, featuring renowned bands such as The Catalinas, The Pink Slips Band, and the CAT5 Band, garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from both Grand Regal guests and the local community.

The weekend extravaganza commenced on Friday night, with The Catalinas setting the stage ablaze from 8 to 11 pm. Attendees reveled in the classic tunes that have become synonymous with the beach music genre. On Saturday, The Pink Slips Band continued the musical journey from 4 to 7 pm, creating an energetic and festive atmosphere. The CAT5 Band brought the curtains down on the weekend, delivering a captivating performance from 8 to 11 pm.

Jake Womble, with The Grand Regal, expressed his excitement, “Beach music and summertime just go hand in hand. We are excited to bring these popular bands to Goldston’s Beach and host a weekend of great entertainment for our guests and the community as summer nears an end at White Lake.” The sentiment echoed by Womble encapsulates the communal spirit that the event aimed to evoke.

Grand Regal patrons and Bladen County residents alike flocked to the event, creating an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie. The seamless blend of captivating melodies, the picturesque backdrop of White Lake, and the sense of togetherness resulted in an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Nancy Stocks spoke about The Pink Slips Band being “fabulous!” She is excited about seeing the local band again soon.

Lara Bell Johnson said about The CAT5 Band, “It was a great performance!”

The Grand Regal offered the perfect haven for those seeking an immersive weekend getaway. Guests had the opportunity to bask in the comforts offered at White Lake while indulging in the festivities of Goldston’s Beach Music Weekend. 

Today, the popular tourist spot posted on its social media hours of operations and more stating, “Don’t forget to make plans to come see us and our spectacular sunsets!! Here are our updated hours for this week and Labor Day Weekend!”
