There has been a lot of renovations out at the Industrial Park in Elizabethtown. Today, Terri Dennison with the Town of Elizabethtown announced a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony for the new Greene’s Lake & Conservation Park.
Dennison’s announcement states it is a passive park featuring a paved walking trail, playground, and places to relax around Greene’s Lake. The State of North Carolina assists the project through the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund and the Natural and Cultural Resources Department.
The park is located at 337 Aviation Parkway in Elizabethtown. The celebration ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 3:00 pm. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by calling 910-862-2066.
