WHITEVILLE – Jackson Pait, a 7th-grade student at Bladenboro Middle School, recorded his first hole-in-one Thursday evening on the ninth hole at Land O’ Lakes Golf Club.
Jackson swung a 7-iron at about 3/4 speed to sink the ace.
Witnessing the shot were Trent West, Ken of the Land O’ Lakes staff and Jackson’s father, West Bladen Athletic Director Travis Pait. Jackson is the son of Travis and Heather Pait.
