ST PAULS – St. Pauls rallied with 2 runs in the fourth inning and 3 more in the fifth to rally for a 5-2 victory over East Bladen Monday in the jayvee baseball opener for both teams.

The Eagles jumped in front 2-0 in the second inning. After 2 were out sophmore Eric Chancy and freshman Jake Evans belted singles and both raced home on freshman Gabe Barber’s single.

Barber batted 2-4 to lead the East Bladen hitters. Freshman Jordan Robinson hammered a double, and sophmore Spencer Scott, Holden Clark, Chancy, and Evans added a single each.

Scott started on the mound for the Eagles, and Clark came on in relief in the fifth.

The Eagle jayvees will host West Columbus Friday.
