A 12-2 Clinton closing run overcame a 42-37 West Bladen lead and produced a 49-44 Four County Conference jayvee boys basketball victory for the Dark Horses Friday night at West.
The Knights rallied to within 21-20 at halftime then took the lead in the third quarter behind the play of freshman Kerron Washington who drove to the basket repeatedly to rack up 16 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
Teammate Nhyki Richardson pumped in 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and had one steal. Jaheim Lesane, Zion Barrett, and Ervin Hernandez scored 4 points each.
The Knights will travel to Midway Tuesday for a 4:30 game.
