ST PAULS – St. Pauls scored with 3:40 left in the game to snap a scoreless deadlock and claim a 1-0 Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee boys’ soccer victory over West Bladen Monday night.

Freshman Dylan Hernandez posted 8 saves in goal for the Knights. Junior Levi German and sophomore Brady Durden sparked the West defense with 25 steals each. Sophomore Bryant Ortiz-Aguilar came up with 24 steals for the Knights.

James Vasquez-Garcia was credited with 20 steals for West Bladen. Enrique Rodriguez-Gonzalez finished with 15 steals, Jason Martinez-Sanchez followed with 12 steals, Miles Bullard totaled 11 steals, and Kevin Sebastian had 10 steals.

Jonathan Ortiz-Hernandez had 2 shots on goal for the Knights.

West Bladen, now 7-4, will close out their season Wednesday night at Midway.
