FAIRMONT – Fairmont rode a 10-4 third period spurt to a 22-16 victory over East Bladen in Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball action Friday.
The Lady Eagles jumped in front 7-2 early, but the Lady Tornadoes rallied to tie the game 11-11 at halftime.
Center MaKayla Dixon worked the paint for 8 points to lead the East Bladen scoring. Teammate Lavada Jackson threw in 6 points.
East Bladen, now 7-5 in league play and 9-5 overall, will host St. Pauls Tuesday night.
