LAKE WACCAMAW – Freshman AnnaGrey Heustess fired in 11 service points and 5 kills Tuesday to lead East Bladen to a 2-0 Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball victory over East Columbus by set scores of 25-21 and 25-18.
Heustess belted in 6 aces, a block and had one dig. Teammate Cydney Campbell hammered in 7 blocks, 6 service points, 3 aces, 2 kills and had a dig. Freshman Maegan Burney tallied 4 service points.
Freshman Karli Priest drilled in 5 service points, 3 aces, a kill and added a team-high 5 digs for the winners. Freshman Emma Turbeville knocked in 4 service points and had a dig.
Anette Munoz smacked in 2 kills, a block, a service point and had a dig for East Bladen. Sophomore Merritt Martin belted in a kill, and Cheyanne Merritt had one dig.
The East Bladen jayvees improved to 10-5 in the Three Rivers and 12-6 overall and will close out their season Tuesday at home against West Bladen.
