RED SPRINGS – West Bladen’s Lady Knight jayvees rolled to their 3rd straight volleyball victory Thursday night with a 2-0 Southeastern Athletic Conference win over Red Springs by set scores of 25-12 and 25-15.

Freshman Kali Allen sparked the West Bladen attack piling up 15 service points that included 5 aces. She also added 2 kills and a dig. Freshman Natalee Sykes distributed 3 assists and rang up 4 service points and 1 ace. Helaina Conklin pounded in 4 kills.

Sophomore Marlene Crabtree belted in 4 kills, 2 aces, a service point and had 1 dig for the Lady Knights. Emme Bryant fired in 8 service points that included 3 aces and had 1 dig. Freshman Jaylyn Clark hammered in 3 kills, and Tah’lea Bethea knocked in 2 kills.

Sophomore Marlie Walters banged in 2 kills and 1 service point for West. Kierra Lewis tallied 2 service points and a kill. Freshman Jahyra Priest drilled in a kill, and freshman Brenna Hester contributed 1 dig.

Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights raised their record to 3-1 in SAC-7 play and are 6-5 overall. West Bladen will visit St. Pauls Tuesday night.
