BLADENBORO- West Bladen swept both sets from West Columbus Tuesday by set scores of 25-17 and 25-12 in non-conference junior varsity volleyball action.

Freshman Ellie Kinlaw pounded in 7 kills, 3 aces, another service point and had 8 attacks for the winners. Teammate Kimberly Dowless dished out 5 assists and added 5 service points including an ace, 3 kills and 3 attacks. Tah’lea Bethea riddled the Lady Viking defense with 16 attacks, 6 kills and an ace.

Freshman Karlee Gause fired in 7 service points including 3 aces, a kill and had 1 attack. Sophomore Kali Allen knocked in 5 service points including 2 aces, a kill, 2 attacks and distributed 4 assists. Helaina Conklin tallied 3 service points, a kill and an attack.

Sophomore Brenna Hester banged in an ace and 2 other service points. Shanna Lewis pounded in 2 kills and had 2 attacks and a dig. Jahyra Priest racked up a kill, a service point and an attack. Makenna Thurman had 1 attack.

Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights evened their record at 1-1 and will travel to rival East Bladen Thursday.
