BLADENBORO – West Bladen’s jayvees won their second straight game 2-0 Thursday over West Columbus in non-conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-7 and 25-9.
Maddie Walters filled up the stat sheet with 7 service points, 4 aces, 2 kills, 3 assists and a dig for the Lady Knights. Marlie Walters fired in 8 service points and 6 aces. Kylie Durden hammered in 5 kills and had an assist.
Kaitlyn Brisson knocked in 3 aces and 3 service points for West Bladen. Karly Ross tallied 3 service points. Marlene Crabtree contributed 2 service points and an ace, and Shanyla Hunter finished with 2 digs.
Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights improved to 2-0 on the season and will travel to Lakewood Monday.
