BLADENBORO – With her family, teammates and coaches in attendance Wednesday, West Bladen senior shortstop/pitcher Kylie Durden signed to play softball next season with the Guilford College Quakers.

Durden led the Lady Knights in runs scored (35), runs batted in (23), triples (4) and slugging percentage (.750). She was 2nd on the team in doubles (8), hits (32), batting average (.471) and stolen bases (14).

The Lady Knights concluded their season Tuesday night with a 15-8 record and claimed 2nd place in the Southeastern Athletic Conference with a 10-2 league record.

Durden started 3 games and made 6 appearances in the pitching circle where she posted a 3-0 record and struck out 13 batters in 15.1 innings.

Guilford completed their season Sunday with a 23-19 overall record and were 11-9 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
