WILMINGTON – East Bladen grad Lacey Suggs fired in 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds Friday night, but her UNC-Wilmington Lady Seahawks dropped a 66-58 Colonial Athletic Association decision to James Madison.
Suggs drained a pair of 3-point shots and scored in double-figures for the 8th consecutive game. Sunday the White Lake native grabbed 5 rebounds and scored 2 points in UNC-W’s 62-41 loss to Towson.
The senior guard is averaging 11.9 points and 5.2 rebounds through 17 games. UNC-Wilmington will travel to College of Charleston Sunday.
