Land ‘O Lakes Golf Club announced Thursday that its golf shop and clubhouse will be closed Christmas eve and Christmas day, but the course will be available for play Sunday and Monday at no cost. Carts will not be available so golfers must walk the course.
The club also announced it has a few spots remaining for its annual Collard Open on New Year’s Day with an 11 a.m. shotgun start.
The 2-player Captain’s Choice tournament on Jan. 1, 2024 is open to the first 50 teams to register and will be flighted after the round. Entry fee is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners.
Among the drawing for prizes will be a free membership and free range balls for a year.
A meal and drinks will be provided following play.
