LOS ANGELES – Former East Bladen star Larrell Murchison made 2 tackles Thursday night as his Los Angeles Rams defeated the New Orleans Saints 30-22 and improved to 8-7 on the season.

Murchison stopped the Saints Alvin Kamara after a 5-yard gain to the New Orleans 30 yard line late in the 1st quarter. On the 1st play of the 2nd period, Murchison tackled Kamara again after a 2-yard run. The N.C. State grad now has 15 tackles for the season, including 6 solo tackles.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 328 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Rams offense. Puka Nucua racked up 164 receiving yards on 9 catches and caught a TD pass. Teammate Kyren Williams ran for 104 yards and scored another Ram touchdown.

The Rams will travel to New York for a 1 p.m. game Dec. 31 against the Giants.
