BLADENBORO – Gavin Elks fired in the only goal of the game to give Bladenboro a 1-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over Williams Township Thursday.
Elks banged in the goal off of a corner kick midway the 2nd half. Goalie Hunter Hester recorded the shutout and was credited with 6 saves for the Bulldogs.
“It was a great game; a great win for us,” said Bladenboro Assistant Coach Otis Evans. It was the 1st loss of the season for the Aggies.
Coach Steve Thurman’s Bulldogs improved to 4-2 and will host Clarkton School of Discovery Tuesday.
