ELIZABETHTOWN – Tar Heel’s Panthers recorded their 7th consecutive victory Thursday with a 2-0 win over Elizabethtown in Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer action.
Panther goalie Dylan Hernandez recorded his 7th shutout and was credited with 3 saves. The Tar Heel defense has not allowed a goal this season.
Seth Faircloth fired in the 1st Panther goal, and Alejandro Lopez knocked in a goal as Tar Heel built a 2-0 halftime lead.
Coach Brett Jackson’s Panthers, now 7-0, will travel to East Columbus Tuesday. Elizabethtown, now 2-3, will host West Columbus Tuesday.
