NAKINA – Jonah Bryan scored a pair of 1st half goals to lead Bladenboro to a 3-1 victory over Nakina Monday in the Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys soccer opener for both teams.

Nakina grabbed an early 1-0 lead, before Bryan’s 1st goal tied the game 1-1. Sincere McKinley delivered an assist to Bryan who fired in the go-ahead goal for the Bulldogs.

Diego Santos-Hernandez hammered in an insurance goal in the 2nd half off of a feed from Miles Bullard. Teammate Hunter Hester was credited with 3 saves in goal for the Bulldogs.

Coach Steve Thurman’s Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday, November 16th at Williams Township.
