CERRO GORDO- Bladenboro’s Jace Lesane, Sincere McKinley and Jeremiah Bryan drilled in their kicks that lifted Bladenboro to a 3-1 boys’ soccer victory over West Columbus in their penalty kick shootout Tuesday.
Drake Gause fired in both of the Bulldog goals in regulation play that ended in a 2-2 tie.
“That’s the first time in a loooonnng time that we have won on PK’s,” said Bladenboro Coach Steve Thurman.
Brooks Carroll and Devan Haire shared the goaltending responsibilities for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs improved to 8-1 in Waccamaw Middle School action and will close out their season Thursday against Elizabethtown.
