CLINTON- West Bladen’s Lady Knights claimed their 3rd consecutive victory Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep of Clinton by set scores of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-19.
Senior Keira Lewis blasted in 30 attacks, 12 kills, 4 blocks and 4 service points to lead West. Senior Maddie Walters battered the Clinton defense with 24 attacks, 10 kills, a block and 5 service points including 2 aces.
Lady Knight freshman Greer Pope distributed 20 assists and tallied 7 service points including 1 ace, 2 attacks and a kill. Senior Trinity Meares slammed in 17 attacks, 9 service points including 2 aces, 2 kills, a block and had 1 dig.
Junior Marlene Crabtree pummeled the Clinton defense with 30 attacks, 7 kills and 2 service points including 1 ace. Senior Jenna McLean pounded in 16 attacks, 6 service points, 2 kills and had an assist.
West sophomore Emme Bryant came up with 6 digs and had 1 attack. Junior Marlie Walters spiked in 9 attacks.
Coach Gaye Davis’ Lady Knights evened their overall record at 9-9 and improved to 4-2 in SAC-6 play.
