TABOR CITY – Clarkton School of Discovery blanked Tabor City 5-0 Wednesday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer action.
Noah White and Miguel Ventura hammered in 1st half goals as the Blue Devils built a 2-0 lead. White blasted in a penalty kick for his 2nd goal after intermission.
Omar Powell drilled in a penalty kick in the 2nd half for the winners, and teammate Pablo Miranda scored on a corner kick. Goalie Atreyu Ringer recorded the shutout for Clarkton.
Coach Robert Mazur’s Blue Devils raised their record to 6-4 and will entertain Williams Township Thursday.
