ELIZABETHTOWN – Tevin McClean and Ishaq Algozy fired in 2 goals each to lead Elizabethtown to a 4-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over West Columbus Tuesday.
Algozy drilled in a pair of goals in the opening half, and McClean knocked in a goal as the Cougars raced to a 3-0 halftime lead. McClean hammered in his 2nd goal after halftime.
Fox Sutton posted the victory in goal for the Cougars and was credited with 4 saves.
Coach Jay Raynor’s Cougars improved to 4-3 and will host East Columbus Thursday in their season finale.
