WHITEVILLE – Ishaq Algozy blitzed Williams Township with a ‘Double Hat Trick’ of 6 goals Wednesday to lead Elizabethtown to a 9-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory.
Algozy blistered the nets with 4 goals in the 1st half, and teammate Andrio Garcia chipped in with a goal as the Cougars built a 5-0 halftime lead.
Garcia fired in his 2nd goal of the game in the 2nd half, and Algozy banged in 2 more goals. Devance Tatum knocked in the final Cougar goal with 2 minutes left to play. Fox Sutton and the Elizabethtown defense recorded the shutout.
Coach Larry Williams’ Cougars ran their winning streak to 7 in a row and will host Bladenboro Thursday.
