WHITEVILLE – Alejandro Lopez fired in a pair of 2nd half goals Wednesday that lifted Tar Heel to a 2-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys soccer victory over Whiteville Central.
Dylan Hernandez was credited with 2 saves as he recorded his 2nd consecutive shutout in goal for the Panthers.
Coach Brett Jackson’s Panthers improved to 2-0 and will host Elizabethtown Tuesday.
