TAR HEEL-Alexander Saraoz fired in a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Monday to lead Tar Heel to a 6-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over West Columbus.
Saraoz opened the Panther scoring turning an assist from Levi Garcia into a goal. Saraoz converted an assist from Andrew Martinez into his 2nd goal. Garcia and Martinez drilled in penalty kicks to stretch the Tar Heel lead to 4-0.
Garcia rang up his 2nd goal of the game on a cross that was deflected in. Saraoz finished off his ‘Hat Trick’ with an unassisted goal. Dylan McLaurin recorded the shutout in goal for Tar Heel and was credited with 5 saves.
The Panthers raised their record to 2-1 and will entertain Williams Township Thursday.
