BLADENBORO – Masion Brooks scored a pair of touchdowns to lead Clarkton School of Discovery to a 30-20 Waccamaw Middle School Conference football victory over Bladenboro Tuesday night.
The Blue Devils recovered a Bulldog fumble in the end zone and tacked on a 2-point conversion for an early 8-0 lead. Hezekiah Adams ran for a touchdown as the Bulldogs tied the game 8-8.

Adams broke free for another touchdown as the Bulldogs grabbed a 14-8 lead in the second quarter. The Blue Devils rallied to tie the game 14-14.
The teams exchanged fumbles to begin the second half before Adams carried into the end zone for his third touchdown of the game that put Bladenboro on top 20-14.
Clarkton then scored the next two touchdowns and added a pair of 2-point conversions for the final 30-20 margin.
The Blue Devils, now 1-1, will host Williams Township next Tuesday in their Homecoming game.
