ELIZABETHTOWN — Katelyn Vann and Skylar McLemore teamed up to scored 21 points and lead Midway to a 37-20 middle school girls basketball victory over Emereau Bladen Thursday.

Vann poured in 9 of her 12 points, and McLemore rang up 7 of her 9 points in the 1st half as the Lady Raiders built a 20-9 halftime lead. Preslie Williams finished with 7 points for Midway.

Bristol Allen fired in 7 of her team-high 11 points for Emereau in the 1st half then added 2 baskets after halftime. Bristol Allen also nailed a 3-point shot in the 1st quarter. Vera Valentiner sank 2 free throws and a basket to finish with 4 points for the Lady Aviators.

Julia Flowers and Anna Robinson tossed in final period baskets for Emereau, and Ziryhanna White netted a 1st quarter free throw.

Emereau is scheduled to travel to Riverside Christian Monday.
