WHITEVILLE– Hadley Dove and Adyson Carroll fired in 2 goals each to lead Bladenboro to a 5-0 victory over Williams Township Monday in the Waccamaw Conference girls’ soccer season opener for both teams.
Allison Hickman opened the scoring for the Lady Bulldogs, and Dove knocked in both of her goals to push the lead to 3-0 at halftime. Carroll delivered an assist on one of Dove’s goals.
Carroll found the back of the net twice in the 2nd half as the lead grew to 5-0. Addison Wilcox recorded the shutout in goal for the winners.
Bladenboro will host Tar Heel Wednesday.
