DELCO – Addie Bowen fired in a goal as Clarkton School of Discovery blanked Acme-Delco 2-0 on Monday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer action.
The Lady Blue Devils took an early 1-0 lead in the 8th minute as Acme-Delco inadvertently knocked the ball into their own net. Bowen scored the second CSD goal.
Kenzi Storms and Danyelle Cotten combined to post the shutout in goal for the Lady Blue Devils. Storms was in goal in the first half, and Cotten was the keeper in the second half.
Coach Jordan Raynor’s Lady Blue Devils improved to 2-0 and will play Tabor City in a make-up game Wednesday at Bladen County Park.
