TAR HEEL – Kathrine Mejia Rodriguez fired in a ‘Hat Trick” of 3 goals to lead Tar Heel to a 5-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer victory over Elizabethtown Wednesday.
Lluvia Sanchez Orellana scored the other 2 goals for Coach Brett Jackson’s Lady Panthers who finished their season with a 6-2 record in the Waccamaw’s AA Division and a 6-3 overall mark.
“Our goal was a team effort between Starlaysia and Zaniya,” said Elizabethtown Coach Lynn Broomhower. “The team played the best game they played all season.”
