The Bladen County Veterans Services office in Elizabethtown moved. Veteran Services Director, Larry Hammond says the new location will better serve the local veterans.
Yesterday, the veterans services moved from their office once shared with the Bladen County Elections office located at 301 S. Cypress Street in Elizabethtown. Veterans may now receive assistance by visiting the Bladen County Health Department. The new office is located at 300 Mercer Mill Road in Elizabethtown.
“They will have more parking and more room,” Hammond said about the new office benefits for the Veterans.
Hammond stated, “A new sign is being made to better showcase the new office, but until then, help spread the word to our local veterans
