A representative with the North Carolina Department of Insurance would like all BladenOnline.com readers to know representatives are in town to assist victims of Hurricane Florence. Jared Lowery with the NC Department of Insurance said Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey and other representatives with the department are stationed at the Elizabethtown Middle School located on Highway 701 in Elizabethtown today to help people with insurance claims and more. Lowery added, FEMA representatives are on site at the school grounds as well.

Any citizens needing assistance with filing insurance claims for property damage due to Hurricane Florence are invited to stop by the school’s location to speak with officials and apply for assistance. The government officials will be offering assistance until 5:00 p.m. today, Friday, September 28, 2018.
