On Friday, October 8, 2021, Faye Boyne with the North Carolina Department of Transportation released a NCDOT update for local roads and highways.
CLOSINGS:
SR1318 RIVER ROAD
Will be closed Northeast of Tar Heel due to cross line repair from October 11, 2021 from 8:00 am through October 22, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
CLOSED:
US Highway 701N
The both lanes of the North Bound US Highway 701 over the Cape Fear River is closed. Traffic will be rerouted to the Southbound lanes. The closure has a WIDE LOAD TRAFFIC RESTRICTION.
