The Bladen County Board of Commissioners honor Mrs. Blannie Smith Hall’s 100th birthday with a Proclamation Monday evening at the commissioners meeting. Mrs. Hall was born in Bladen County on August 6th in 1915.
Mrs. Hall is the daughter of Geddie R. Smith and Ada Edge Smith. Mrs. Hall married Clarence Hall of Bladen County in June of 1931. The couple has nine children, 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.
She is a devoted wife, mother, active church member at Windsor United Methodist Church, and a role model citizen according to the proclamation. READ MORE
