The West Bladen #1 doubles team of senior Yari Santana and junior Yuri Santana finished 2nd in the Southeastern Athletic Conference Girls Tennis Tournament Tuesday and qualified for the MidEast 2A Regionals.
The Santanas were defeated in the tourney finals 6-4, 6-1 by a Fairmont team. To reach the finals the West Bladen team received an opening round bye then defeated Clinton in the 2nd round and St. Pauls in the semi-finals.
The Santanas were the only Lady Knights to qualify for the regionals that are scheduled for October 20-21.
