Spread the love
By Cara Beth Lewis

Yesterday, the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new business in Elizabethtown, offering nursing uniforms, school uniforms, women and men’s clothing, and hair products. Melissa McKoy, owner, shared that more items will be added in the coming weeks.

According to McKoy, “Shena’s Place is the flagship business brainstormed by myself and Mario Wright.” She shared that Shena is the name of her daughter who she tragically lost in an automobile accident, and this business is in remembrance of her.

McKoy is very grateful for the support she has received thus far. In her own words, “The ribbon cutting was outstanding. I sincerely appreciate the love that was shown by family, friends, and the community. I thank the town of Elizabethtown and surrounding business owners. A special thank you to the Elizabethtown Chamber of Commerce, Sign Logic, and Cromartie Enterprise.”

Shena’s Place is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am until 7 pm. Lastly McKoy said, “We look forward to serving you for many years to come.”
