TABOR CITY- South Columbus defeated West Bladen 9-0 Monday night in non-conference softball action.
Senior Gracey Faircloth batted 2-for-3 to lead the West Bladen hitters. Junior Holland Davis and sophomore Breanna Hester connected for 1 hit each for the Lady Knights.
Olivia Watts pitched a 4-hit shutout for South Columbus and batted 3-for-4 with a double. Brileigh Ward was 3-for-4 with a double, and Reah Lee batted 2-for-3 with a double and 3 runs batted in.
The Lady Knights, now 0-3, will host Heide Trask Thursday. South Columbus, now 5-1, will host Pender Tuesday night.
