The recent Holiday Booze It and Lose Campaign by the North Carolina Highway Patrol found 10 drivers arrested in Bladen County on DWI charges. There were 57 total checkpoints in the county. There were a total of 259 folks received speeding violations. The total traffic violations in the county came to 537.
Columbus had 20 DWI arrests and 310 speeding violations. Brunswick had 49 DWI arrests and 508 folks were ticketed for speeding. In Pender there were 17 DWI arrests and 225 speeding violations. The Holiday Booze And Lose It Campaign went from December 11 to January 3.
