The Annual July 4th Sidewalk Sale is off to a great start in Elizabethtown and continues through Monday…Fireworks at White Lake are planned for Saturday….shortly after 9 p.m.….or as I heard someone describe it…dark-thirty.
Think back over the years at ways you celebrated the 4th of July….I was reminded recently how, years ago, nearly all of our industries closed so employees could have the entire week off….some still follow that practice…For many…..just another work day…
We are celebrating the 239th birthday of the United States….despite the twists and turns…still the greatest nation on the face of the earth….despite our efforts to “mess” it up.
Congratulations to all the youth, coaches, supporters for the summer recreation activities in the area….They are assisting our youth make memories…
